THE COMPANY

bioZhena Corporation is an early-stage medical device and informatics company focusing  on female reproductive health. Our Fertility Awareness System™ creates such a significant advance in the access to reliable physiological data that it will become the new standard in female health awareness and reproductive management.

OUR TECHNOLOGY

Based on in vivo tracking of folliculogenesis, our proprietary bioprobe technology represents a totally new diagnostic modality for reproductive medicine.

Applicability:

·          Predicting and detecting ovulation for birth control and as a conception aid.

·         A screening device for pathologies such as cervical cancer.

·          Enhancing accuracy of the delivery due dates (EDD).

·          Tracking hormonal effects, and assisting in the management of PMS/PMDD, and in individualization of        hormone therapy.

·         Can be useful in gender pre-selection.

Our smart sensor technology utilizes a proprietary bioprobe briefly placed in the fornix of vagina, rather than remote indicators such as chemical markers in blood circulation or, even more remote, in urine or saliva. The folliculogenesis data can be optionally downloaded into a physician’s ovulographic™ appliance.

MEDICAL DIRECTOR is sought. This is a ground floor opportunity for a visionary in reproductive medicine and women's health.

The ideal candidate will adopt this perspective: The bioZhena technology and product line is far from being merely a competition for the existing LH kits or the two-hormone monitor from Unipath (Inverness).

Unlike the urinalysis diagnostics available in the marketplace for infertility patients, the bioZhena core product is to become every woman's lifetime companion tool. Through the quick and easy daily data, providing unprecedented details of the menstrual cycle, women's healthcare providers will have a new diagnostic tool for patient management.

The technology is differentiated from competition:

(i) no-one else tracks folliculogenesis in vivo;

(ii) no other diagnostic technology is available for birth control;

(iii) no other technology performs an automatic but unseen and worry-free screen for cervical cancer;

(iv) no other technology provides electronically shareable data for the medical profession;

(v) no other technology provides such an elegant tool for end-organ effects monitoring to both the pharmaceutical R&D and to any healthcare provider (re: individualization of therapy).

Our technology utilizes physiological indicators at the site of action (cervical tissues) rather than remote indicators such as chemical markers in the blood or, even more remote, the urine or saliva.

We are well past the proof of concept, into the beta testing stage. Our business plan includes the first product launch in month 20, and the break-even point in year 3.

The candidate must have a strong background in reproductive medicine, and a successful track record, consistent with growing a startup company in the women's health arena.

The Medical Director will finalize and direct the clinical/medical aspects of the startup company operation.
