Invited Speakers: Faculty: Walter Lowney, President & William Kane, Vice President, Communication Constructs, Inc.

Program:
This three-day workshop will provide participants with the knowledge and skills
necessary to write well-organized, persuasive grant proposals, technical papers,
reports, e-mail, letters, memos, executive summaries, and to prepare engaging oral
presentations. Workshop participants will use Communication Constructs, Inc.'s unique
"CCI Method" to shape their research results, problems, questions and needs into
coherent, concise and effective documents. Participants will learn techniques to:

* get started quickly and define key issues
* ask questions that uncover readers' and reviewers' needs
* format for high-performance writing
* write a fast, coherent first draft
* edit in three easy steps

The CCI Method has been taught to Fortune 500 corporations, leading professional
firms and U.S. Government agencies. Participants include the EPA, EDS, E-Systems,
MITRE, Logicon, Mobil Oil, McDonnell Douglas, and the Library of Congress.

Participants consistently report a measurable improvement in their writing clarity as well
as a substantial reduction in writing time. CCI's thoroughly-tested worksheets and
formats, including model documents developed from real world examples, will give
participants the tools to start quickly.
