With the explosion of bioinformatics, it is essential for researchers and managers, to thoroughly understand the techniques used in genome analysis. This masters level course developed with BBSRC funding aims to introduce delegates to the methods used in obtaining gene sequences and then provides a comprehensive overview of the ways used to analyse the data obtained from sequencing projects. It introduces comparative genomics and looks at the use of Bioinformatics.
