Who Should Attend?
This online training is intended for engineers, scientists and managers in the fine and specialty chemicals, life science, and biotech industries. Those involved in developing new process and products will find the material very useful for the conceptual analysis of their programs, whether they develop the analysis themselves or are guided by the results. Course Description
This 90-minute accredited course will cover conceptual Techno Economic Analysis of what was traditionally called fine and specialty chemicals. The focus will be in the fine chemical and specialty chemicals, life science and biotech areas, including examples from those areas. After reviewing the principles of techno economic analysis and setting the stage, the course will cover conceptual capital cost estimating and the impact of regulations on capital cost, guidance operating cost estimating, and valuation.

Invited Speakers:
John Super, President and Principle Consultant, Cobroko Solutions

John Super has been President and Principle Consultant of Cobroko Solutions since 2014. As a consultant, Mr. Super identifies alternatives, recommends among alternatives and assists to commercialize (scale up) new processes and products, among many other contributions for his clients.

In 2014 he was elected as AIChE Fellow, recognizing his many professional accomplishments and contributions to the profession. He was a DuPont Engineering Fellow capping a 28 year career with DuPont in various roles. As a Senior DuPont Consultant he taught Techno Economics and practiced in the area for twelve years.

Since DuPont he was in senior leadership positions as VP of technology, process development, business development, and catalysis in emerging companies or Mid Cap ones and also KBR Technology Center Director for four years.

Mr. Super graduated from Lafayette College with BSChE and from University of Pennsylvania with MSChE (Chemical and Biochemical). He is a Professional Engineer licensed in NJ, DE and TX.
