Program:
You are cordially invited to submit abstracts for the second Cold Spring Harbor Winter Biotechnology Conference on vector targeting which is to be held at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory from the evening of Thursday March 11th till after lunch on Sunday March 14th, 1999. This conference will provide a forum for the presentation of the most recent advances in target definition technology and the rational design of targeted vectors for gene therapy. This unique forum is designed to stimulate future research studies in this important area and to promote interactions amongst researchers in diverse basic scientific areas relevant to this field.  Six oral presentation sessions and one poster session are planned. In addition to the invited speakers, the majority of speakers will be selected on the basis of the abstracts submitted. We strongly encourage submission of abstracts by junior researchers in the field.

Topics include:

Physiology-based targeting
Microorganism display systems
Transcriptional targeting
Immune regulation for gene delivery
Phage peptide display
Phage panning
Env shuffling
Targeted adenovirus
Targeted retrovirus
Targeted Sinbid virus
Targeted liposomes
Targeted DNA
Targeted bacteria
HSV VP22 targeting
