5th Cancer Epigenetics

  July 28, 2016

GTC Bio, San Francisco
2016-11-08 to 2016-11-09

We invite you to attend the 5th Cancer Epigenetics Conference, which will take place on November 8-9, 2016 in San Francisco, CA

Lately the field of epigenetics has been rapidly changing and progressing. Advances that were made possible because of the Human Genome Project have opened up new possibilities about how epigenetics can be used to stop cancer. Scientists have recently discovered that there are potentially two sets of enzymes that are responsible for regulating the chemical structure of chromatin, which consists of the methyl and acetyl marks in the chromatin structure. Theoretically, by changing and controlling the chromatin structure, scientists can attempt to gain epigenetic control of DNA in order to potentially stop aberrant gene expression.

Interest in applying and translating epigenetic science to cancer therapy is growing at an exponential pace.We invite you to join us as colleagues from industry and academia gather to discuss the latest research for therapeutics, drug discovery developments, biomarkers, and epigenetic mechanisms in cancer.

We hope to see you there!
