To: Multiple recipients of list HUM-MOLGEN <HUM-MOLGEN@NIC.SURFNET.NL> Subject: BIOT: Dynabeads From: Arthur Bergen <bergen@AMC.UVA.NL> Date: Fri, 9 Jun 1995 12:29:21 +0100 Subj: Use of Dynabeads with automated sequencing This message was originally submitted by dgill@UNM.EDU to the HUM-MOLGEN list at NIC.SURFNET.NL. I have been using Dynabeads (paramagnetic beads coated w/ streptavidin) to isolate ss PCR product and then sequence manualy. We just got an automated sequencer (ABI 373a) and I am having problems getting the same PCR products to sequence on the ABI. I am using the Sequenase dye terminator and Taq cycle dye terminator kits. Has anyone tried these with dynabeads? The ABI techs were not much help.... I would appreciate any replies. Thanks. David L.
